**Getting messy is all part of the fun.** Messy Play gives young children the freedom to explore different colours, textures and materials through hands-on, sensory play. Supported by our Early Years Educators, children can squish, splash, mix, make and experiment in a relaxed environment where curiosity matters much more than keeping clean. **How to join:** Everyone is welcome at the Playhut! There's no need to book in advance — families are welcome to drop in, or you can reserve a place through our website. Sessions are free for families living in Kensington and Chelsea. For families living outside the borough, the cost is £3 per family, per session. Entry is free and everyone is welcome. ### The Playhut The Playhut is open to families and children under 6. Please visit the Playhut page for opening times, session information and the latest programme. ## Getting here ### By foot The main entrance to Meanwhile Gardens is on Kensal Road, with additional pedestrian access points around the Gardens. ### By bus Routes 23, 28, 31 and 328 all stop within a short walk of the Gardens. ### Underground Westbourne Park Station (Circle and Hammersmith & City lines) is a 5 minute walk away from The Playhut and Meanwhile Gardens’ festival site, and approximately 10 minutes away from The Factory Building. ## Accessibility Most of the Gardens are accessible by wheelchair and buggy, although some paths are uneven and a few of our wilder areas include steps.
